Job DescriptionChandler law firm is seeking a personal injury attorney with 3 plus years litigation experience for its PI practice. Candidate should have litigation experience in personal injury cases and/or civil practices. Cases the firm takes are primarily motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death and nursing home cases. The position requires you to be able to manage your cases and work independently. The attorney will be responsible for cases from intake to trial, including settlement negotiations, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, motion practice, and trial. Personal injury trial experience is a plus. Salary and commission are offered. You provide a base pay as an advance every month and a commission for every case you settle. You control your earnings. If you have ever wanted to be your own boss, keep your own hours, direct your own pay and you have the discipline and drive to do so, we are looking for you. This is not a position for every lawyer. The entire firm is virtual. Meaning everyone works from home. Clients are met with in our executive suites. We have offices in both Phoenix and Chandler. We are minimalists, so if you hoping for a lot of paralegals and secretaries to be handling your calendaring and initiating calls, we are not the firm for you. We outsource our scanning, filing, data entry and record requests. We believe in technology, we have a team meeting every day by Skype and Zoom. We chat on Slack throughout the day and of course, we are entirely paperless. A lawyer's responsibility is to know your client's claim, negotiate the claim, recommend litigation when necessary and prevail in trial. For all of this, you control exactly how much you want to earn. Work a lot, earn a lot. Work a little, make a little. You control your caseload and how many cases you want to handle. If this sounds like it could fit for you, please send your resume, outline why you are good fit and salary requirements to be considered. Benefits are offered including a 401(k). ()
